Welcome:
Drs. Ekkehard and Sieglinde C. Othmer opened Picture Hills Psychiatric Center in 1992 at its present location.
Mission:
Picture Hills Psychiatric Center provides multi-disciplinary services to patients of all age groups including their families. The center’s experts are familiar with all recognized psychiatric disorders and can evaluate and initiate treatments for all of these disorders.
The center uses thorough diagnostic evaluations for the treatment of patients and families, including those with complex mental health needs. Picture Hills Psychiatric Center is a welcoming, non-threatening, and discreet environment. Staff members maintain utmost confidentiality of their patients and families.
Goal of Treatment:
Our team has a unique approach to the treatment of psychiatric disorders. Symptom alleviation and reduction, while helpful and necessary, is only a transient treatment goal. Our team targets our patients’ abilities and encourages them to realize their highest potential, in order to gain success and satisfaction in life.
Therapies:
Therapies used include behavior modification, cognitive therapy, supportive, interpersonal, client centered, social and insight oriented psychotherapy, hypnosis and pharmacotherapy.
Special Services
Services offered include: Pre-Bariatric Surgery Psychiatric Evaluations,
